There were two interview rounds. In the first round, candidates fundamental knowledge of digital communication, random variables and aptitude skill was assessed, and in the second, their proficiency with MATLAB coding was tested along with basics of Detection and estimation theory.

1). Write a MATLAB code to determine the DFT without using inbuilt FFT function. 2). Explain your thesis and term projects. 3). Why the channel is sparse in beam-space domain. 4). If X and Y are IID random variables then determine cov(X,Y).
