I am Aishwarya Srivastava, pursuing B. Tech in the Electrical Engineering Department. My Roll No. is 200064. I have done summer internship in Samsung Research & Development Institute, Bangalore, as a Developer. I have also done SURGE internship (in my second year summers) under Prof. K.S. Venkatesh on topic 3D - Face Reconstruction using Weakly - Supervised Learning., studying in IIT Kanpur will be joining I am placed in Navi company and my Job profile is Software Development.. Selection Process of the Company you are selected in 1) Resume Shortlist, 2) GD, 3)Test
There were no resume shortlisting criteria initially, but the software role was open for circuital branches only. There was an Online Assessment based upon aptitude, technical and coding skills. Next round was resume shortlisting followed by two interviews first technical and second technical + HR.
Insights on the interview process
1)In the first round, they asked me DSA based questions. The first coding question was based upon time complexity and greedy algorithm. The second question was based upon graphs. In both the questions, they first asked the brute force approach and then asked to write the optimized code. 2)The second round was the HR round in which they asked questions based upon the resume (internship, projects, PORs, courses) and HR questions.

Advice for students (do's and don'ts)
1)Do’s Make a good resume and get it reviewed by seniors (very important) Prepare your resume Try to give mock interviews, ask for feedback and improve accordingly. It will boost your confidence 2)Don’ts Don't stress or get demotivated if you're not getting shortlisted by companies. Just focus on your preparation and try to answer all the questions in the OAs. Avoid including the projects which you have no clue about or don't want the interviewer to ask about in your Resume Avoid giving vague responses in your interviews. Be clear and concise.
