Insights on the Selection Process

There was a coding test, like any other company did. After getting short listed, there were multiple rounds of interview (3). The first round focused on Algorithms since I mentioned that it was my strength. The 2 nd round focused on Probability (Basic probability then expectation and it’s properties), then the last round was mix of everything, they also asked questions on Markov chains and included a few on discreet math (like the ones taught in the course cs201).

Advice for students (dos and don’ts)?

Start early, no matter how hard it seems in the first glance, it becomes easier through practice. Consistency and confidence building is the key.
