I PREPARED THE MATERIAL REQUIRED IN SHORTLISTING IN MAJORITY OF COMPANIES. A CODING TEST AS SHORTLISTING ROUND IS TAKEN BY ALMOST 50-70% OF THE COMPANIES, THUS I STARTED CODING IN 2^(ND) YEAR SUMMERS FROM INTERVIEWBIT. COMPANIES LIKE AMERICAN EXPRESS, JP MORGAN, GOLDMAN SACHS TAKE A COMBINED APTITUDE AND PROB& STATS TEST. DATA ANALYST/QUANT PROFILES ALSO REQUIRE A DECENT GRASP IN PROB&STATS. FOR PROBABILITY AND INTERVIEW’S APTITUDE QUESTIONS, I FIRST SOLVED QUESTIONS FROM BRAINSTELLAR, THEN SWITCHED TO GURMEET PUZZLES. FOR FINAL TOUCH, I SOLVED 50 CHALLENGING PROBLEMS IN PROBABILITY. FOR APTITUDE TESTS PREPARATION, I PRACTICE TIMED TESTS ON PARIKSHA.COM. RESUME PREP TIPS: MENTION SOME PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE IN THE FORM OF INTERNSHIPS/PROJECTS/ONLINE PROJECTS DON’T WRITE HALF FILLED LINES. MAKE THE RESUME AS FILLED AS POSSIBLE A RESUME MUST BE SUCH THAT 20 SEC GLANCE ENSURES YOU ARE A POTENTIAL CANDIDATE FOR THE PROFILE. PROPERLY ORDER AND HIGHLIGHT SKILLS/KEYWORDS RELEVANT FOR THE PROFILE REVIEW YOUR RESUME FROM SENIORS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE DON’T END LINES WITH FULL STOPS

A strong resume and application was the key for shortlisting. So work on your resume and get it reviewed from seniors multiple times. GDs are also main focus of selection for such companies, so practice them in a group from topics previously asked. Make good points in the GDs to standout. During interviews, they check your vision to join the company. I was asked that having worked on data science projects throughout in my resume, why doing internship at ITC align with my vision. Also, why I have choose Data science when I am from Chemical Dept. So prepare for such questions in advance. Also, revise ESO201A course.
