Muskan Jaiswal

Muskan Jaiswal, studying in IIT Kanpur as a BS student will do her summer internship in TECHNICAL profile at WALMART

I started my preparation from June end. I targeted for Analytics, Quant and Finance profiles. I started practicing coding from interviewbit, geeksforgeeks, leetcode and did contest on codeforces. I did some courses on coursera on machine learning and statistics. For aptitude I practiced question on pariksha site. For puzzles you can look on brainstellar and geeksforgeeks. For resume preparation look on your senior resume choose a format you like, make a draft and get it reviewed by your seniors, ask for tips. For HR round prepare most common HR questions before the interview, you can find them on many sites.

I GAVE INTERVIEW FOR 4 COMPANIES, AND WHAT I LEARNT FROM THEM IS THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW YOUR PROJECTS VERY WELL, YOU DON’T NEED TO GIVE THEM ALL SMALL DETAILS WALK THEM THROUGH YOUR PROJECT BRIEFLY (1 MIN OR MAX 2 MIN). BE CONFIDENT, DON’T HESITATE, IF YOU ARE STRUCK ASK FOR HELP. THEY USUALLY LIKE LISTEN YOUR ANSWERS IN THEIR INTEREST. DO PRACTICE CODING AND PUZZLES THEY ARE VERY IMPORTANT FOR TESTS AND INTERVIEW AND YOU MUST HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF STATISTICS. I ALSO THINK IT IS IMPORTANT TO HAVE AT LEAST ONE MAIN PROJECT IN YOUR RESUME AND TRY TO MAINTAIN A GOOD CPI.
